Meng Jiang’s research fields are data mining, machine learning, and natural language processing. His research focuses on Computational Behavior Modeling for applications such as intelligent assistance, recommender system, and question answering. It is at the intersection of user modeling, graph learning, information extraction, text mining, and text generation.

Xiangliang Zhang’s research focuses on machine learning, data mining, and their application in knowledge discovery. She works on challenging problems such as learning from complex and dynamic environments, handling missing or noisy data, understanding risks from adversarial attacks, and discovering new knowledge across domains through representation learning, extraction, and inference.
