iTREDS

The Interdisciplinary Training and Research for Ethical Data Science (iTREDS) program is offered to undergraduate students by the Lucy Family Institute for Data & Society. iTREDS Scholars gain rigorous training in data science while critically examining its ethical, social, and policy dimensions. The program is rooted in the belief that data scientists must not only develop technical expertise but also engage deeply with the societal impacts of their work.

NSF ExLENT Data Crossings

Experiential Learning for Emerging and Novel Technologies (ExLENT) Data Crossings is a U.S. National Science Foundation-funded, year-long program designed to broaden participation in data science and artificial intelligence (AI). The initiative is open to college students in the arts, humanities, languages, and social sciences, as well as working professionals who are seeking to expand or pivot their careers.
