Join the Data, AI, and Computing Initiative for Football Fr(AI)days, a series exploring how data and artificial intelligence (AI) are shaping discovery, society and the future of human-centered innovation.

Each Football Fr(AI)day event will spotlight ambitious projects underway across the University and within the Initiative’s units, showcasing how faculty, researchers, and students are pursuing purposeful AI development grounded in Notre Dame’s mission and commitment to the common good.

Data- and AI-driven technologies are transforming nearly every dimension of society, reshaping how we discover, create, govern, and connect. As these technologies continue to advance, Notre Dame researchers are pushing the boundaries of what is possible—from accelerating scientific discovery to strengthening communities and preparing the next generation of technical leaders.

Across the Football Fr(AI)days series, we will explore not only what AI can do, but how it should be developed and applied to serve people and society. Through faculty panels, presentations, and interdisciplinary conversations, the series will highlight Notre Dame’s distinctive approach to advancing frontier research while keeping human flourishing, responsibility, and purposeful innovation at the center.
